Northwestern Box is a cloud-based storage and collaboration system available to faculty, staff, and students for storing or sharing files. The Box web interface allows users to upload, download, share and discuss files on Macs, PCs, smart phones, and tablets, providing access to files from almost anywhere. Northwestern Box should not be used for legally or contractually restricted information and is NOT covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA). All federal, state, and local laws and University policies apply to the use of Box.
